This project was developed for a client in the Philippines. Inventory analysis of movement of manufactured goods across locations and warehouses, taking into account rejections, rework, Dispatches, movements to warehouses etc. This enabled component data entry by printing and reading a barcode.
He wanted his Inventory moved from across different locations to be tracked to give a current view of available inventory. These were sheet metal parts, being assigned a serial number sticker, moved from factory to QC , approvals, rejections calculated. Then Approved parts could be moved to either of 3 warehouses with different rules to send back rejected goods or approved goods to customers based on order sheets. After movement of goods, all warehouses should show current inventory and also combined inventory for any part or category.
Besides Inventory, it reads order sheets to show components Dispatches against an order, part order wise Dispatches and pending parts to be made, pending Dispatches, available inventory and required against an order.
